    Hi there,
Due to severe weather/driving conditions, several of the Ensemble members wont
be able to make it down to perform tonight, so that means we will have to postpone the
folkloric dance section with Nahara and Yasser until March 30th.

Nevertheless, the show must go on! For those of you who still want to come down,
there will be a full set of Tarab (classical Arabic) music for your listening
pleasure. You are also welcome to get up and dance yourself if so moved!

Our next show will be March 16th and will feature Dameshe (that's me) and Sira
with a tribute to Adaweya featuring trumpet player Amir El Saffar. Amir will also be
playing Iraqi Maqam in the Tarab set which, if you've never heard Iraqi music before, you
    really shouldn't miss.

And again, our folkloric show with Nahara and Yasser will still take place on
    March 30th.

Thank you all for your support!
